What are clover mites?

They have eight legs with the first pair being much longer than the rest, and they have featherlike plates sporadically placed across their abdomen. Of course, this may be hard to see without the aid of a magnifying glass or other magnification tool. Clover mites are a type of plant feeder, and can typically be found feeding on clover, grass, plants, and weeds.
